Pond Stocking

The pond will be stocked on Tuesday 18th March at around 11am. Darlene will be adding a mix of rainbow trout and brown trout to compliment the holdover fish from the Fall stocking.

After stocking the "No Fishing" signs will go up around the pond until Opening Day morning.

Spring Opening Day 2025

The spring season will official kick-off at 7:30am on Saturday 22nd March. Coffee will be brewed and the wood stove will be roaring by 7am. The first-cast bell will toll at 7:30am then breakfast will served between 9-10am (only $5, the best bargain in town)

2025 Membership dues can be paid on the day.

Pond/Ice Status

and Fishing Report

As of Monday 10th March the pond is 50% ice free with some large sheets of thick ice floating around in the middle. There is plenty of open, cold and clear water to fish around the shores. The occasional trout can be seen chasing pollywogs and members have been catching holdover trout on streamers.

The weather forecast looks good for the next few days so members have a week to fish for holdover rainbow trout before the new stocking of rainbows and browns arrive onTuesday 18th March.

Reminder : 2025 Membership Dues must be paid before any fishing can be done. Checks can be left in and envelope in the mailbox by the clubhouse front door.
