February Fly Tying

The February Fly Tying Night will take place at the clubhouse on Tuesday 3rd February. Everyone is welcome, no tying experience or equipment required.

Fly Tying starts promptly at 6pm with most members showing up at 5:30pm to get set up and enjoy a slice of pizza.

This months flies are the Woolly Bugger and Pine Squirrel Leech. Fly details have been posted on the club website (Fly Tying webpage).

February Member's Meeting

The next meeting will take place on Thursday 19th February at 7:00pm. More details to follow.

2026 Membership Dues

The 2026 membership fees are now due. Members can pay online using ZELLE or send a check made payable to Needham Sportsman's Club. The club treasurer emailed all 2025 members at the beginning of January with full membership and payment details..

Ice Conditions at the Pond

We have a good 5-6" of ice across most of the pond but the edges are thinner (3-4") in places. The town of Needham measures the ice thickness at the pond edges daily and publishes measurements here.

Fly Fishing Show Report

A big thank you to the members who helped promote our club at last weekends Fly Fishing Show in Marlboro. We had a lot of membership and information enquiries from show attendees.
