NSC Work Party @ Gilbert Trout Hatchery (6/20)

The club is looking for between five to ten members to take part in the annual work party trip down to Darlene's trout hatchery in Plymouth.

This will take place on

from 8am to 12pm.

Darlene has been supplying Needham Sportsmans Club with high quality trout for many years. She is massively appreciative of our efforts when we go down and help her with the upkeep of her hatchery. This year, as well as a general clear-up, the plan is to assist her with the repair of the bird netting structures that keep blue heron and birds of prey out of the trout rearing pens. This is also a good way to see how our trout are raised before the make their way north to our pond.
