Fall Stocking

The fall trout stocking took place this morning. 250-300 rainbow trout, a few brown trout and a lively little golden trout are now patiently awaiting the delicate delivery of your Sz10 black (or olive) Woolly Bugger this Saturday morning.

No fishing until the first cast bell on Saturday 25th October (7:30am)

Opening Day

Fall Opening Day is this Saturday 25th October. We hope to see lots of our new and old members. The wood stove will be roaring by 6:00am and coffee pots will be boiling by 6:30am. The first cast bell will toll at 7:30am, and with breakfast being served at 9:00am, everyone has 90 minutes to catch their quota of trout before chowing down to a delicious spread of bacon, sausage, ham, eggs, pancakes and home fries ($7).

November Members Meeting

(NSC Annual Raffle/Auction)

The next club meeting will take place on Thursday 20th November and it is our annual raffle/auction night. As well as being a great night of fun and laughs it also serves as our biggest fund-raising event of the year and recent nights have raised thousands of dollars for the club.

Raffle and auction prizes are comprised of a mixture of donations from local businesses and fun and quirky (and preferably fishing related) donated items from members. The raffle night rule has always been "If you win it, it goes home with you" so please consider digging through your fishing tackle/bags/sheds/closets and donating a few items to the raffle/auction. Items can be left in the clubhouse on the table by the backdoor. If you have any questions about what you could donate, reach out to Raffle Chairperson Mikey H.
