Fly Tying Night - Tuesday 1st October @ 6pm (Pizza @ 5:30pm)

The focus of this months fly tying instruction will be the hackle feather. Don Walker will be on hand to give advice and help for choosing and tying in specific hackle feathers to some popular flies.

Fall Clean Up Day - Saturday 5th October, 8am-12pm

We are hoping for a great turnout next weekend for the Fall Clean Up Day. Members should meet at the clubhouse at 8am, armed with gloves, rakes and loppers (long pole loppers will be useful). Plus if you have a weed whacker or leaf blower bring it along and put it to good use.

The plan will be to tidy-up around the entirety of the pond, along the driveway plus inside and

around the clubhouse and parking lot. There is also a small pile of last year firewood rounds to split and stacked. A job list can be found on the large whiteboard inside the clubhouse.

Members Meeting - Thursday 17th October, 7pm (Dinner served at 6:30pm)

Rollie and Bill kick off this seasons round of member meetings with a beer-can chicken meal served at 6:30pm. The meeting will start at 7pm and we have a number of points to discuss in relation to the club and pond.

This is a great chance for any new members to come along and introduce yourself and to meet some of the club 'regulars'.

2025 Club Dues can also be paid at the October and December meetings (No November meeting this year).

Fall Stocking - On or around Tuesday 22nd October

Darlene will make her biannual trip to the pond during the week of October 22nd. The pond will be stocked with rainbow and brown trout ready for fall season.

There will be "No Fishing" signs posted around the club between the stocking day and first cast on Saturday 26th.

Fall Opening Day will follow a slightly different schedule this year.

• Coffee available in the warm clubhouse at 7:00 am

• First Cast at 7:30 pm

• Breakfast available in the clubhouse between 9:00am - 10:00am

After a few years of dwindling attendance we hope to see a lot more members turn up and enjoy some good fishing, good company and a nice, hot breakfast.
