October Meeting this Thursday

The October Members Meeting is taking place this Thursday 16th October.

Rollie and Bill's annual feast of Beer Can Chick'n will be served at 6:30pm and the meeting will start at 7:00pm.

Final trout stocking and Opening Day details will be confirmed at the meeting.

WCVB Channel 5's Chronicle TV crew paid a visit to the clubhouse last week to check out our Fly Tying Night. Members were mic'd up, spotlights were shone and flies were masterfully tied. The Chronicle crew were very impressed and the footage will hopefully be aired at the end of the month. We will notify members when we know the date and time.

LL Bean Distance and Accuracy Casting Clinic

(Free to members)

A second Distance and Accuracy Casting Clinic will be held on Saturday 1st November (9am-1pm). This is a free clinic offered to members by LL Bean in reciprocation of their use of our pond over the summer.

3 of the 6 slots are currently available. Email Club President Dennis P to reserve your spot.

Fly Fishing Show

Please consider volunteering some of your time to support and promote out club at the Marlboro Fly Fishing Show this coming January.

Needham Sportsman's Club will be hosting a table at the Marlborough Fly Fishing Show on all three days of the event (16th, 17th and 18th January 2026) at the Royal Plaza Trade Center in Marlborough. We use this event to promote our club and in the past we have gained many new members thanks to the positive volunteer work of members who sign up to man the table.

If you are interested in volunteering for one of the time slots please use the Sign Up Genius link below. We need two members per time slot over the three and members who volunteer get free access to the show on the day they volunteer.
