Ice fish the pond this weekend

Members and their immediate family will have a second chance to ice fish the pond this weekend (21st & 22nd February)

With fly fishing for trout looking to be many weeks away the BoD voted to allow a second weekend of ice fishing.

Please read through the guidelines listed below.

• Only paid up members and their immediate family may ice fish, NO GUESTS.

• Dawn to dusk fishing only, Saturday and Sunday.

• One jigging rod or tip-up allowed per angler. Anglers must attend rod/tip-up at all times.

• Barbless hooks only, circle hooks preferred

• Supply your own bait. Shiners, worms or artificial lures are allowed

• Hand auger is in clubhouse to drill holes. Replace blade guard after use. Be careful, VERY SHARP.

• The ice is 12-14" thick but there is open water by the brook. Stick to the main area of the pond.

• Limited space for parking, please be considerate.

There is no plan to cook any food but the grill and kitchen are there for members to use. If you stop by to ice fish and the wood stove is lit, throw a couple of logs in to keep the clubhouse warm.
