December Fly Tying Night


This month's fly tying night takes place this Tuesday (3rd December). Pizza slices at 5:30pm will be followed by the fly tying session where Tony will take the group through the steps involved in tying three more "beginner" flies. Full instructions and materials lists for the three flies can be found on the Fly Tying page of the club website.

December Members Meeting


This months members meeting will take place on Thursday 19th December. The annual festive feast of roast beef and sides will be served at 6pm followed by a short meeting then its time.


If one or two members want to contribute a dessert dish it will be very much appreciated. Please email head chef Dennis Plaster to confirm this. (nscpres22@gmail.com)


2025 Membership Dues


The 2025 membership fees are now due. The BoD has taken the step of raising the yearly dues to $250, the first increase in many years. This will help offset the many expenses that the club has to cover throughout the year and still maintain its non-profit status. The cost of trout stockings, insurance and utility bills have increased significantly in recent years and the club would like to implement a weed and algae bloom pre-emptive plan in the spring, the increase in dues will go towards all of these things.

Fly Fishing Show


The Marlboro Fly Fishing show takes place on January 17th, 18th and 19th 2025. NSC will have it's regular club table there and we are looking for members to help staff the table and promote the club to the show attendees. Members who volunteer their time get free admission to the show.
