  • Golden Deadly Shiner (streamer)

More details and instructions can be found on the club's Fly Tying webpage.

Spring Clean Up Day

This Saturday April 4th from 8am - Noon. It is essential we get volunteers for this, the more volunteers we get the sooner we get done.

The major tasks will be,

  • General cleanup of the pond: pick up trash and brush debris

  • To remove leaves and debris from the pond on the shoreline we will need several members with waders/boots and rakes.

  • Stack firewood

  • Thorough cleaning of clubhouse

Reminder: Fishing is prohibited during this time period. Your help with this is greatly appreciated.

March Meeting Presentation Follow-Up

I’d like to thank everyone that came to my presentation on Iceland. It has been a great privilege to go over there the last few years and be able to guide. If anyone was inspired to maybe go to Iceland and fly fish for Atlantic Salmon, Brown trout and Arctic Char please leave your email with “Vincent MacFarlane <floodtide1970@yahoo.com>  “ and I’ll make sure we, “Iceland Fishing Guide”, get back to you.

Thank you!

Vinny MacFarlane
